A series of morning workshops on creating delicious, healthy, herbal beverages with our indigenous Cape botanicals. Befriend the most important herbs and learn how your senses can be used to assess their nature and quality. Learn traditional methods to blend, infuse, brew and ferment a variety of herbal beverages including teas, and tea blends; herb-infused gins; bitters and amari; meads, wines and beers; kombuchas; cordials, shrubs and switchels. The workshops cover the creating and tasting herbal beverages; and cultivating, harvesting, storing, preparing and blending of Cape botanicals. On each workshop, take home loads of good ideas, two organically-grown Cape herbs for your indigenous garden, and a manual with the basic theory, recipes and herb profiles.
